You don’t start out writing good stuff. You start out writing crap and thinking it’s good stuff, and then gradually you get better at it. That’s why I say one of the most valuable traits is persistence.
I love this quote! This is so true, because after around a decade of writing for a living, I still feel like I write crap. Like I’ve just begun my journey into writing. To be honest, I still feel as though I’ve not reached any significant achievements in writing, so I do hope the persistence actually pays off, lol.
